Yesterday I went to Queensbay with Chun Hooi to watch World Invasion : Battle Los Angeles

It's a movie about ALIENS attacking earth to get the water .

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world — Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. Those scene are just like the ones in 2012 . But this is about alien invasion to earth not natural disasters .

Some says it is the combination of the Independence Day and The Cloverfield .
Sometimes I really do enjoy disasters movie , but I wont enjoy it when it really happens to us =X

It is predicted as the end of the world by the Mayans because The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on December 21 2012 . Nobody knows where it is true or not .

BUT

there are already signs that show December 21 2012 as the end of the world is true .

Natural disasters that had been occuring recently does that mean the end of the world is approaching ?

Does that means the MAYAN PROPHECY is true ?

December 21st 2012 is the end of the world ?

We will only know when that day comes .

Fringe is a sci-fi TV-Series by JJ Abrams .

JJ Abrams is one of my favourite director because his storyline is so damn nice .

Survivor . It's not a TV-Series actually . It's a reality TV game show . I believe lots of us had watch this before 10 years ago . Most of us had thought this reality TV game show does not exist anymore . But this is the 22th seasons already . This reality TV game show already exist for around 10 years . This reality TV game show is about surviving on a island and compete in challenges to win a million dollars .

This TV-series got 6 seasons . Now I only watched until season 2 . Long way to go . This tv-series had won alot of awards . But lots of my friend say this tv-series is boring . For me , I think this tv-series is one of the best !

I went there in the morning again .

Some of us were late . So me and Randy went to the storeroom to get our products .

After setting up , we went to Subway to eat again !

Then went back to the store to do our duties .

World Cup had ended on Monday , After one month of football , it has ended . It is four years once . Of course I am watching the FINAL !

I wake up and watch the FINAL along with my brother and grandfather . Lots of my friends awake too . They are watching too . I were messaging with Wei Chong during the match .

I wanted Germany to win but ..

Final score : Spain 1 - 0 Netherlands . There were alots of YELLOW CARDS .

2010 South Africa Fifa World Cup is a success but there are still controversy in the judging of the referees .

Four years later , I am already 20 years old . And I hope that time would be Germany be the champions of the world .

Germany National Football Team in South Africa World Cup

After a month of FIFA WORLD CUP , it is coming to an end .

As in my previous post , I supported Germany football team .
But they lost to Spain in the semi-final . Spain is the favourites of the tournament .They are the better team in the match yesterday .
Germany had beaten ENGLAND and ARGENTINA in the Round of 16 and the quarter final . Both matches with 4 GOALS .
Although they lost in the semis , I am proud of them . Germany had the youngest average team in their world cup history . But , they still can produce such amazing result .
Before the tournament , Germany wasn't the favourites because captain Michael Ballack is out and the team is young . But , they beat the odds and proceed until the SEMI FINAL .

Now some Germany players that had shine in the WORLD CUP 2010 .

The first one , Thomas Muller . He is just 20 years old . In his first World Cup , he score 4 goals already in this campaign . He is one of the candiate to win the Best Young Player award .

The second player , Mesut Ozil . He is a playmaker that Germany is lacking and he is great in those passing . He may not score that much goal that Muller scores , but he creates goals for other players to score . He is an important player in the team .

The third player , Miroslav Klose . He is one of the senior player in this Germany team . He doesn't perform well in his club career . But he was a BLAST in South Africa . He now is on the verge to break Ronaldo World Cup goalscoring record . He score 14 and Ronaldo scores 15 . Two more and he breaks record .

These are the better ones . For me , the whole Germany team plays well . Their defence were so SOLID . They conceded 3 goals . The Germany team going to do better in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil .

Saturday night , we scouts hiked up to Penang Hill for our scout test .

After we settled all our things , we went to see the night scene of Penang Island .

Now I realised Penang is so beautiful .

I wasn't taking a DSLR , just a normal compact camera .

On the eve of our school Scout gathering , me and my scouting friends went to school for overnight .

I was thinking that I am going to miss the world cup match of Brazil versus North Korea .
But once I reach school , they wants to go to McD to watch . I was like OMG .
After we prepare all of our things , we told our form 5 seniors and they let us go .
We walk on the street like our street . It's midnight 2 am . There will be less car .

It's holiday . Holiday surely got hangouts for me .

Last day of school . It was the last day of exam too .

But everyone wasnt in studying mood .

Last subject was CIVIC .

For me CIVIC is just useless , we had studied Moral , why we need CIVIC ?

As for me , I bring some football magazines to school to read.

I didn't stay in my class . I went to 4SB2 , which is the class I preferred . I had more friends there . More thing to chat about .

I didn't participated in any event . But I participated in marching competition for Scouts .

A night at Kok Meng's House

We had school replacement on 24th of April .

But , we decided to play futsal which is known as INDOOR football after school to celebrate baby Yao's birthday .

We played futsal at BJ SPORTS . Bukit Jambul Rooftop .

It is fun playing futsal with friends . After our futsal match , we went to KFC to have our dinner . It came to our mind to go to Kok Meng's house to watch MU versus Tottenham match there . I walked home with my friends have bath then off we go .

When I was in the lift , I realised that I haven't take the batteries . That was OMFG .

So , I went to Kok Meng's house to watch the match . After watching , I decided to overnight there as nobody could fetch me home until the next day . We watched some funny football videos and played PS2 .

At around 12.30 in the MORNING , we went to watch Arsenal versus Manchester City . Kok Meng gave me some batteries and finally I could take photos

This time I am going to tell you the way of making a cup of mango smoothie .
Firstly , you would need :

Blender

Yogurt

Milk

Mango or fruit of your choice .

After you have those things , then you could produce a cup of mango smoothies .

Then , you put mango inside your blender .

Then add two spoon of yogurt into your blender .

Then , pour some milk into your blender .

Put some ice inside if you want a cup of cold smoothie .

Now all set to blend .

Same as Day 1 . Reach school in the morning and take bus to USM .

The list of stocks

Later , the game started . I was the runner broker for my team . My job is to go and buy stocks on everytime the market open .

Stocks

Everytime I buy back the stocks , Chee Meng need to do the ledger . Money in Money out . All his job .

And Randy gonna record the FTR and Record Prices . FTR is Fiscal Trading Report . It is a summary of how your investment team manages its trading in each round of the Stock Challenge Day while Record of prices is a record of the prices of each stock in each round for future references .

This means that I no need to do any paperwork . After about 3-4 rounds , we are going to play the last and final round without newspaper . Just with our knowledge . It's pretty hard . But , the facilitators gave us tip . To buy those low stock and of course . We bought those .

Then , the round ends . Time to make a sheet of how much we earned in a sheet of paper called Corporate Audit . It is to determine the total value or final assets of your brokerage team .

I went off later to find auditor to see where our Corporate Audit is correct or not .

Well , it's correct . Then , we went back to our sits let them to see who's the winner .

They announced the result for mixed team . One winner for the category . For all boys category , they gonna be 2 winners team . and for all girls category , got 3 winners team .

Mixed team won by Heng Ee . Gratz .

and for all boys . We Chung Ling own-ed them . B.R.A brokers won . oh yeah . Shocked after hearing the announcement . We won Stanley's team by 20 dollar .

Citi Stock Challenge Day 1

Citi Stock Challenge .

Aha ! Citi Group organized this on 7 and 8 of April . A few days ago .
My brother had experience in this event .
He shared some of his experience for me .
and I get to know more about what is this event about .

Day 1 . I went to school with my long pants and school uniform .
And pass up my permission of leaving school .
Then , I went to C-Gate with my friends to wait the bus to come .
I used my old camera as my present camera got problem with it

In the bus .

After about half an hour , we reached USM .

We went in and there already got lots of students there .

We get a place to sit down .

There were 15 of us who went to this Stock Challenge .

We would like the whole group to go . But there has a limit .

Before the event start

Breakfast were prepared when we reach there .

We had our breakfast and then went back to our place .

I met my primary friends from Heng Ee and Convent Pulau Tikus .

We were given guidebook , highlighters and pens .

The facilitators told us about what we should do and we shouldn't do .

Then , we were put into a group consist of 3 people .

At around 12 , we went for lunch .

The lunch was delicious . I like it .

Then , we went back to our place and figure out what is our company name .

We got lots of ideas , such as : Wonders Brokers , God Of Brokers , Thunderstorm Brokers .

But we came out an idea of B.R.A Brokers .

This is because of our name Bear . Randy . Alex . The B.R.A Brokers .

and our slogan Boost . Raise . Assure your profits .

Others from our school their company name was Frontiers , Victory , M.I.B and Kings of Balls .

Our schoolmates laugh their ass out after hearing our name .

The facilitators give out newspaper .

The newspaper is used for us to see which stock or share is going to rise .

We studied carefully and discussed .

and one of the facilitators came and ask us which stock is going to rise .

Then we answered . We got it correct and got a 50 dollar bonus for tomorrow

And we know how we can get extra bonuses by creating buisness cards , signs , and costumes .

I was wondering how are we going to that in just one day ?

After the event ended , me and Chee Meng took bus to BJ and get some materials to do those signs and more .

We then went to MacDonald to have our meal and do some over there .

At around 6 , I walked back home .

and continue doing those things .

Art Class

This post is dedicated to Ms Yew .

My form one and form two art teacher was horrible .
I don't even know what are they talking .
I lost interest in Art . I just pass up my homework for the sake of marks .
But , when I am form 3 . My art teacher was Ms.Yew . She is the Ketua Panitia of Art .
She is a hardworking and nice teacher .
Last year , after my PMR examination , she called some of our class student include me to Art Room . She teaches us how to print t-shirt and makes kite .

We spent good times together with Ms. Yew in the Art Room .

We even buy Pizza Hut to thanks Ms. Yew for teaching us so many things .

Few weeks ago , Bernard told me that Ms.Yew gonna leave Chung Ling to somewhere .

Bernard also call me to go to the farewell with Ms. Yew last week .

I went to school for meeting and I forget it .

I regretted that I didn't go .

Lastly , thank you Ms Yew for teaching us so many things .

Hope we meet again , Ms Yew =D

and have a good journey ahead .

CLB Skill Camp Last Day

After the overall champion , we cleared our things . Went to sleep .
Next day , wake up at around 8 am .
To help the seniors take things up to lorry and for form 4 follow lorry go back to Chung Ling High School .
Those were Cheng Kai , Yuan Zhang , Wei Ying and Yeong Zhi .
While others stay there for cleaning up the room and also photo taking .

CLB Skill Camp Second Day

Second day of CLB Skill Camp .
Wake up in the morning .
As usual , brush my teeth then off to breakfast .
The competition of the day is mostly performances . Sketch , Dance and Song .
All the performances start on 11.30 .
So , some of the Form 4 which participated in the dance competition practice their dance for the last time .
But , before that , Fancy Marching competition .
We didn't participated .
There were only 2 teams participating .

As stated in my previous post , after RTC . I went home . Then evening I went to school to take bus to Chung Ling Butterworth .

Not long after . Seniors call us to get our things to bus .

After all our things on the bus , off we go to Chung Ling Butterworth .

Most of us sleep inside the bus .

After around 45 minutes , finally we reach CLB .

It's the third day of RTC , which is the last and final day of the camp .

As usual , participants gathered at Scout Den around 7 am .

We prepared breakfast for them and they started to clear their campsite .

This is to tell them mistakes they made during the camp .

Games - are meant for FUN . We are going to play water against those participants , especially FORM 3s .

I wasn't in-charge of any station . I went to every station to play . MUAHAHAHA

Recruits Training Camp Second Day

We cannot have our camp overnight at school . Principal does not allowed it .

So , juniors went back home but seniors needs to overnight

I am an Arsenal fan since I was a kid .
One of the club player , Aaron Ramsey aged 19 sustained a horrific and serious injury .
He had broken his tibia and fibula .
That's quite serious .
But , luckily the surgery was successful and he is recovering from his injury .
I wish him all the best in recovering and hope to see him back to action as soon as possible .

The first paper of the day was Chinese .

First Troop Meeting of the year

I joined scouts since form one .
It had been 3 years and this is year is the fourth year .
This week we held our first troop meeting .
This is the form one's first activity .

The number of Form Ones .

There were almost 90 of Form One's joined Scout .

And these were the numbers .

We organized them into patrols and they were leaded by some of our form four temporary patrol leaders .

I were the stationer for KNOTS station and also photographer .

BBQ Party

After the Queensbay hangout in my previous post , I went back home . Have a bath then off I go to my tuition teacher house which is near my house .
The teacher I having a BBQ party + birthday party for his son .
He invited his students go .
There were fried bee hoon , fried mee , sandwiches and more .
After we had those foods , we mix some of the drink together .

Was the drink with the combination of 100 plus , chrysanthemum(kek hua) , lychee , some curry and also chilli sauce .

We wasted those drinks .. owwhhhh ..

The we make another drink . This one is much better . No chilli and curry . Just those above and also tiger beer and some watermelon inside . The taste . NOT BAD . : D

I was trying to catch the sparks of firecracker . Too bad . MISSED .

Queensbay Hang-Out During CNY

Yesterday when I went to Queensbay with my dad ..

I saw the long queue at the cinema . LONG LONG LONG .

I decided to go there to get the tickets early this morning .

When I reached there , the box office was not yet open .

But , there were people lining up already .

I quickly went into the line .

After a while , Randy came .

He called me to help him buy ticket .

We both bought 8 tickets for 72 Tenants of Prosperity , 10 tickets of True Legend and 3 tickets for Percy Jackson .

72 Tenants of Prosperity are mine , True Legend was Randy's and Percy were for Wei Nian .

After that , I went to arcade to meet up friends .

Mr Ang is playing a fighting game . Quite nice =D

We went to movie at 11.55 am .

The movie was hilarious .

Today was the first day of Chinese New Year .
Well , yesterday was the day which all of the families have their reunion dinner .
Me too .
This year my aunts and uncles were busy .
There were not coming back .
I have my reunion dinner with my family only .

There were meatballs , bird eggs , beef , tofu , fish balls , vegetable , scallops and more .

I even cooked maggi mee with the soup .

It's nice.

Thanks my father for the soup he cooked . =D

My mom bought some new year cakes and some were given by friends and relatives .

7A Side Football Tournament by Junior Jaycees

Last Saturday , our school Junior Jaycees organized a football tournament .
I joined Hong Yong team .
We won one match and drew one .
We should play 3 match .
But one of the team was disqualified .

I took above photos because I am not feeling well and I be the subs for my team .

Till the next day , where we proceed to the Quarter Finals .

The organizers said that minimum players needed for a match is seven .

But , our team only got 5 people .

Others not coming .

WTF .

We were disqualified after that .

That's suck !

Learned a lesson that we should choose team-mates wisely .

Don't ever choose those that won't come to the competition .

Remember this !

The dragon boat tragedy shocked me .
One of my best friend , Wang Yong Xiang were one of the six victims .
My mood was down for the past two days .
He is the one that I know since Form 1 .
I was in the same group with him during the memandu scout test .

Back to last year , we passed our group camp together .

He is a tough guy .

After the group camp , we are having recruitment preparation .

A day for us to call Form 1 students to join our club or unit .
